After a great Bug Show 2013, I visited again the VW Bug Show at Circuit de Spa Francorchamps in Belgium on Saturday the 2th August 2014.
It was awesome! My VW Beetle made the 900 km trip to Le Bug Show very well and with the throttle full open.
I was at the campsite early in the morning. The light was very nice, so I was able to take good pictures, while the VW enthusiasts made themselves ready for the day. At the Spa race track were a few racing Beetles and vintage Formula Vee VWs and later the VW enthusiasts followed the pace car and made a cruise on the race track.
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the VW Buggy, Bruce Meyers, the 1964 VW Buggy creator, was at the Bug Show 2014 to celebrate the birthday with us. He was signing autographs at the Beach Buggy show area.
In the afternoon the drag race demonstration took place and at 4:15 p.m. was start of the superb VW parade.
