I visited the VW Bug Show Spa 2013 on Saturday the 3th August. It was great!

My 1959 VW Beetle made the 900 kilometer return to Le Bug Show at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium successfully.

Early in the morning it has rained. Therefore, a few clouds were on the track and after the sun had risen high there was fog in the forest. Then it was sunny all day. So perfect weather.

I was at the campsite from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. There, the VW enthusiasts cleaned the vintage Volkswagen, were still on sleep, had a hangover or stood in the queue before the toilets and showers.

At 9:30 a.m. I walked to the Spa race track where a couple of racing VW Beetles and Formula Vee Volkswagen drove around the full Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.

Later the VW enthusiasts made a tour on the race track. The superb drag race demonstration was between 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. At about 4:15 p.m. the VW Fans made themselves ready for the parade. After the parade, the fun kept going at the Campsite.
