I visited the Super VW Festival #2 at the 24 Hours Le Mans race track in France 2015.
I started on Saturday July 25 in Bremen Germany with an Air France flight to Paris and drove with a rental car 240 kilometer to the Super VW Fest where I arrived at lunch time.
First I stopped at the North entrance, which is the main entrance, but for the VW Festival, I had to drive to the South entrance. At the South entrance, I changed my advance ticket (65 EUR) and parked my car at the camping area. The first impression was superb because most cars at the camping were air-cooled.
I visited the village with VW professionals, new parts and show cars, which is about 10 minutes walking distance from the camping area. Then I had a look at the air-cooled parade, which can be viewed very well from the Le Mans race track visitor stand.
At 17:00 was the awesome Grand Parade on the race track with plenty of classic VWs. I got a lift in a VW T2 Bus. The weather was all day great and nice sunset was at 21:20.
On Sunday was the Bug'Art Track session which was a racing demonstration between 9:00 to 9:45 and also the drag race was Sunday morning. The weather was not so good on Sunday. It was rainy. I left the Super VW Festival at 13:00 p.m. and on the way to Paris is was raining a lot.
