Hello VW fans.

I visited the Bus Brigade Nord season closing VW meeting at the Grauerort fortress on Saturday 23 September 2017.

Grauerort fortress is a German artillery fort near Stade and 50 Kilometers from Hamburg.

My 1969 VW 1500 Bug made the trip successfully and the GPS top speed on the Autobahn was 140 km/h (86 mph). Well done!

At 12:00 started the cruise to Krautsand Beach where the Küstendriver VW Show takes place. Then to Burweg Burgerbus and back to the fortress at around 16:15.

Later in the afternoon was, with delay, the train ride around the Grauerort fortress.
