Bad Camberg VW Show 2015

I visited the 10th International Bad Camberger VW Veteranen Treffen on Saturday the 20th June. My VW Beetle made the 400 km trip from Bremen to Bad Camberg very well.

The show takes place only once every 4 years and only the very old VWs like Split, Oval and T1 are allowed. I parked with my 1959 VW Beetle in the old city near the event ground.

Early in the morning the last VW enthusiasts arrived to the VW meeting. At about 11:30 almost all participants were there. In the morning it was a bit cold and cloudy but by noon is was more and more sunny.

The market was amazing with lots of rare and hard to find spare parts and accessories for vintage VW. I did not see a MotoMeter rally set amp gauge, but lots of good stuff and most sellers had reasonable prices.

I had a superb time in Bad Camberg and I can recommend this small VW meeting which was very well organized by the Lottermann family and friends.

I really appreciate that you posted such beautiful photos of the Saturday at the Bad Camberg Treffen! I was so sorry to have to miss coming over because of work - NEVER again! Your photos gave us a perfect feel for what it was like to be there to enjoy the event! Thanks fully a friend was able to get me an event badge and event toy as a momento for my collection. I just wish I could have been there. I'll bet the beers were great too! I'm already getting ready for the H-O weekend in 2017!

does anyone know who it is with the blue (german license plate) barndoor with camping interior, selling the split bumpers.
you see a picture almost at the bottom.

Thank you very much for such a nice bundle of pics..they really do bring the spirit of the meeting. Wish I could of been there, next time for sure! Btw , will you attend this year's Menton meeting? I'm planing on bringing my '59 Std over there , its well worth the trip! Greetings from Austria!
