T2a Bus VW Wegu mudflaps 1968-1971

A set of VW Wegu mudflaps for T2a Bay Bus 68-71 in used condition.

I cleaned the left mud flap (see picture #1 to #4) to find out how the condition is after cleaning. I think they are nice aged. To clean the second is your job. Both are in the same condition. The other pictures are before cleaning.

Two mud flap made by WEGU for VW and two mounting brackets. One bracket is for left the other for the right side. Please note one bracket is not complete. One bracket is missing one piece of square plate about 2,5 x 3,5 cm. The other bracket in this size is there, so you know what you have to do. This is a very easy job for a welder. I did not remove the brackets from the mud flaps but you can see the VW logo a bit behind the brackets at the pictures. I have had a few before and behind this bracket should be the VW number and WEGU logo. The brackets should be sandblasted and painted and the mud flaps need a good cleaning. The size is about 24 x 27 cm and they are 1670g heavy. The last picture shows the Wegu mudflaps mounted at VW T2a Bus.
