A set of two rare Bosch 6 volt fanfare horns in used condition. One horn has one dent at the chrome cover which somebody tried to fix unprofessional, as you can see at the pictures. One horn is missing the sealing / rubber for cables, but because the shape is simply rectangular, it can be replaced easy. One horn is marked “HOCH” and the other “TIEF” for fanfare high and low sound. The chrome has some dots and needs polish. The front chrome gutter are good. The Bosch badges are good and marked with “BOSCH GERMANY IMPORTE D ALLEMAGNE”. The diameter of the horn is 10 cm and the weight of both horns is 1830g. The horns are not tested. You need to remove the chrome cover, then you can connect power and check the function. In the case they do not work, then there are more screws and you can “look inside” and clean the contacts which get rusty if not in use for long time. These are the smallest horns made by Bosch and also the most beautiful for small cars like VW Beetle and T1 Bus. The first pictures shows the fanfare horns mounted at a superb T1 Samba Bus and the picture was taken by classiccult in Menton France. The last picture shows the Bosch fanfare horns in Gute Fahrt Magazine 07/1963.
