OELLUX Oil change counter gauge VW Oval

Superb OELLUX Oil change miles counter gauge for VW Oval Beetle in good condition.

The cool gauge is nice aged and all functions are working very well. After the oil is changed, you open the rear and then you just roll the wheels on the counter to match with the speedometer mileage. The size of the OELLUX face itself is 3 x 3 cm and the length is 5 cm. Made in Germany in the 50ies.

You can mount it with a strap (not included) as on the pictures or you may be able to mount it with the indictor switch (switch not included).

The last picture shows a nice Oval Bug fully loaded with rare accessories. The owner Peter from DK told me that he mounted Oel Lux with a little modification and so you may contact him and ask how he did. The Gute Fahrt Magazine from 1957 and a German parts catalog shows Oel Lux.
