Hello VW Fans.

The Brazilian VW Bay Window Bus was made between 1975 till today.

From 1975 till 1997 the Brazilian VW Bay Bus had a VW T2 bay window front and a VW T1 15-window splitty rear. These Brazilian bays are called “Brazilian Bay/Split Hybrid Bus”, “Brazilian Kombi”, "VW Brazil Microbus” or “VW T1.5”.

From 1997 till today Volkswagen do Brasil produces the VW T2c Bay Bus with a T2 Bay Window front and rear. These aircooled and watercooled Brazilian bays are called “T2c”, “The Brazilian Kombi”, “VW Kombi Total Flex” or “VW Kombi”. The T2c looks like a made in Germany T2 Bus.

Below are pictures of the Brazilian Bay Buses around Iguazu Falls, taken by German VW enthusiasts Kristine and Tim in May 2013 and by myself in November 2004.
