I visited the RiVWiera #3 VW aircooled meeting from 10-11 September 2016 in Finale Ligure at the Riviera coast in Italy.
The meeting was organized by the VW Club Lenti & Contenti and it started at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Finale Ligure beach promenade. The show and shine area filled up slowly but was full of old VWs in the afternoon. At about 6:00 p.m. was a cruise to the Terrerosse Camping In the spectacular Le Manie plateau. At the camping was Ligure dinner and a big party with live music.
On Sunday was again Show & Shine at the Finale Ligure promenade. At about 11:30 am started the cruising to San Michele church in the village of Giustenice. It was the highlight of the meeting and great to see lots of air-cooled VWs around the old church. I left the San Michele church at about 1:30 p.m. and travelled to the Cinque Terre for some days off.
The beautiful Riviera coast with classic VWs is great to see. If you like beaches, keep in mind that they are very full in Italy.
